TRUSTex

Building trust and transparency in the European textile value chain through digital product passports, circular design and sustainable production practices.

General Objective

TRUSTex aims to build trust and transparency across the European textile value chain by developing and demonstrating innovative solutions for traceability, sustainability assessment and circular design. The project leverages digital product passports, advanced material tracking and lifecycle analysis to empower consumers, brands and regulators with reliable information about textile products' environmental and social footprint.

By connecting stakeholders across the entire value chain — from fibre producers to recyclers — TRUSTex supports the implementation of the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles and contributes to a more responsible and transparent textile industry in Europe.

ena's Role in TRUSTex

ena Development Consultants plays a key role in the TRUSTex project by coordinating several strategic activities related to market intelligence, innovation uptake, and intellectual property management.

Within the project, ena leads the Market and Consumer Trends Analysis, assessing current market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and emerging challenges in the textile sector. This work supports the development of solutions that respond to real market needs and facilitate the transition towards more sustainable and circular textile systems.

In addition, ena is responsible for designing the Exploitation Strategy of the project, developing a comprehensive plan to support the sustainable commercialisation and long-term uptake of TRUSTex innovations.

Finally, ena coordinates the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management, ensuring the proper identification, protection, and management of the project's results. Through these activities, ena contributes to maximising the impact, scalability, and long-term value of TRUSTex outcomes.
