OEFS Project Successfully Concludes Participation at ICOE OEE 2026 in Hague

The European project OEFS (Ocean Energy Forum Support) successfully concluded its participation at the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE OEE 2026), held from 5 to 7 October 2026 at the Amare venue in The Hague, the Netherlands. The event brought together leading experts, industry representatives, researchers, and policymakers from around the world to discuss the future of ocean energy. 


Active Engagement and Networking at Booth #50 


Throughout the three-day conference, the OEFS project maintained a strong presence at Booth #50, serving as a focal point for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussions on advancing the ocean energy sector in Europe. Representing ena Development Consultants, Phaedra Kotarela, Project Manager at ena, was present at the booth alongside project partners.

Together, the team welcomed visitors and engaged in insightful discussions regarding: The core objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes of the OEFS project.


Mechanisms for collecting, analyzing, and transforming complex ocean energy data into actionable insights for evidence-based policymaking.Future collaboration opportunities among European stakeholders across the marine energy value chain.

 About the OEFS Project OEFS

 (Ocean Energy Forum Support) is a 24-month EU-funded project designed to reinforce and better structure the ocean energy sector across Europe.The Mission: Establishing a structured, reliable mechanism to gather, process, and utilize inputs and data from a broad spectrum of stakeholders (industry, research community, policymakers, and civil society).The Value: In an evolving landscape where evidence-based policy formulation and investment attraction are crucial, OEFS bridges the gap between stakeholders and decision-makers.Funding: The project is co-funded by the European Union through the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).
